One of my best memories of my dad when I was a little boy was going into the bathroom and watching him shave. He would grow a heavy beard daily so he needed to shave once a day. I can remember standing next to the sink and watching him get out his shaving mug and brush. He would put a little water in the mug and swirl the brush around until there was a bunch of lather. He would soap his face up with the brush and then put a new blade in his safety razor and shave. I was mesmerized but the art of it. Even though it would be another 10 years before I would need to shave I've never forgotten watching my dad shave.
